got my airhole for $9.50 from dogfunk last season.
was going to buy another for my missus for $14 a month ago when i got my bindings but didnt.
the most expesive i have ever seen them is $20…
I’ve got a plain black O&E soft shell masky thing and it’s brilliant.
But it seems the perfect thing would be a model that has a mouldable piece of metal in the nose bridge so you can shape it and have it sitting under your goggles just right, instead of it pulling down on the tip of your nose. Never seen one like that but that’d be ideal.
NEFF one is moderately warm but the tie back is annoying and a little too big for my face…..does freeze up..avg price in Australia 30 odd bucks ..not worth the money imo
several $1 (normal) bandanna purely for sun protection….very bad in cold/windy conditions
some 40 buck Japanese one FGB i think is the brand…its similar to the QI facemask http://www.shayboarder.com/2010/05/review-ride-qi-alpha-facemask.html
not that warm but does not freeze up. hard to find in anything similar in Australia….price is a bit exxy
my cycling one wasnt great in japan….found it moved too much (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-windproof-windtex-face-mask/) but it was warm and didnt freeze up. not expensive but look like a gimp
Airblaster terryclava….recent addition. Havent tried on mountain. heard rave reviews so thought ill give it a go
http://myairblaster.com/Terryclava pretty sure no one in Australia stocks this. i got it for about 17 USD
i found another one while digging them out at home lol
Last link doesn’t work, humdinga!!!!!
lol your too fast
its fixed now =p
with pics even
I got a semantics one. I love it cause it has velcro at the back, and a pretty Louis Vuitton style pattern :-D It isn’t a fleecy material, more like a tshirt material and I love that. Sometimes I feel I just get too hot from anything covering my face.
i use a facemask by outdoor research.
I generally won’t go up the hill without a bandana, Just have it around my neck most of the time but if the weather gets pretty gnarly I’ll pull it up over my face and tuck it under my goggles - saved me from frostbite on a few occasions. Another main advantage is that it stops my goatie from getting caught in my jacket zipper
Hahaha, I’ve had the old goatie in the zipper many a time!!!!
Can get away without one down under, but found it essential in Japow!!!!
