haha thats unreal!!
Gave it an attempt over the weekend… gotta see the video and upload it if it is worthy lol.
Stupid Vimeo is processing my video… I’m going to bed, I’ll link you guys in the morning…
P.S. It’s hardly prize-worthy… but I am in the lead lol
Can’t wait to see the footage TJ!!!!
All I can say is that anyone that attempts it deserves a prize!!!!! I def won’t be givin it a go, as I have become deterred from this type of thing due to the risk of pain and sufferin of the elderly!!!!!
Hell, I didn’t even leave the ground when I did a rib, and I am still feelin it with every breath I take 2 weeks after the deed!!!!
I’ve been giving at a go, but without one hand free to help stabilise, it is easy to get off balance and want to face plant. Was hopping to try to get one on film Sunday but none of the boys were willing to embarrass themselves by wearing their GoAm’s on their heads or take charge of PoleCam.
So shitty! But I’ll hopefully do better at the shred if someone is keen to film
Lol it was sooo shit I didn’t even get a reply hahahah!
haha. you put the effort in thats the main thing. Think your gonna have to hit some bigger jumps to actually give yourself the time to hold the grab
Nice effort, TJ.
I’m with K2… go bigger!
I’ll give it a crack if I can get someone to take a photo of me this weekend at Falls. I’ll it on the bigger ones at Drovers, and if I balls up maybe the massive booter at Ruined.
I’d like to try it with a front 1 or something so I’m actually going forward through the air
Nice effort, TJ.
I’m with K2… go bigger!
Yea the main problem (as you will probably see in the video when we finish it and get it uploaded) is that as soon as I go bigger, I freak out and the arms start flapping like a bird :(
But that’s when it starts becoming entertaining for us. Scared, flapping arms are good!
Yeh the old window winder. What I find helps with that on bigger jumps is after the first hit or two, focus on pointing your hands at your tip n tail. When taking off make sure you are leaving nice and centred and balanced. Just think “steeze” when in they air and try to relax. Main thing is if you leave balanced you will not feel the need to wail your arms. Dont pop to much either. Just a little pop equally from both front and back leg will help, but if you pop off the back too much it will through you off.
Im the same, when I havent hit a bigger jump for a while or hit a jump with speed, I do it too. But then focus on freezing my position and floating through the air the next few hits.
