sweet vid!!!
A little bit windy
Good work Caboose, never been hiking but looks like fun….
Also i love the big group riding style RAD
crackers i have post-holed enough riding slack country around PB than if i’m planing to hike i’m using snowshoes
it was that deep out there if you were boot packing it would have taken 10 times longer to get up or impossiblesnowshoes are a must, i’m so unfit atm, but my mates were charging uphill (they have been training for marathons and other carp)
all of us are rocking the MSR Denali or Lightning Assents i think
Rhythm Sports Cooma have
Denalis for $399
Lightning Assents for $499
mmmm I think ill save up ( a long long time ) and get a second hand split board with skins etc, I wish I had one of the new libtech twin split decks though!!!.

Crackers there are cheaper brands of snowshoes and different typers - i’m not a great fan of the straps on the MSRs
here is something i made a few years back
it road like a dog, will have to try it again sometime
since i’m not a skier traversing the slope was hard
going straight up was cool, but just as fast as snowshoes, on the flat or slightly down hill it makes the trip faster
need a lighter board - this neversummer was heavy!!
Caboose, you should make this into an official trip report ($1000 in prizes available): https://www.boardworld.com.au/forums/viewthread/2508/
Also moving this thread to Mountains and Travel.
