As much as I’d like to see the ski dome happen, I reckon it’s a long shot that it will get past this planning stage.
yeah i always wanted to give wakeboarding a go but we sold oour crappy old boat years ago - when i was a teenager wakeboards didnt really exist as far as i knew. it was all ski’s kneeboards or tubes. we had a short surfboard with the fins ground down to almost nothing but no straps…so i dont think it counts. keen to try it out though
That looks wicked, I remember going to Cables when i was younger (before wakeboarding had come around) this should be good.

Well gotta be stoked that Sydney is planning to do some good stuff that I won’t mind forking out some cash for. I think countries that don’t even have snow have beaten Australia to build a snow park. Should be interesting to see how it goes.
On another note as sad as it is that winter is now finishing bring on the summer skate sessions. Late nights, beer, tunes and a board sweet.

I think it’s a bit of a pipe dream though. No doubt if they got it up and running it would be epic, but I can image all sorts of problems trying to get that thing from concept to reality.
From memory Jeremy got in contact with the people running the project some time ago. He might have a bit more news on it?
Nah dude, it’s a good thing you brought it up, because I was only thinking about it the other day, and was wondering where it was at.
It would be unreal to have a slope 365 days a year, that’s for sure. I’d hit it up on my Sydney trips for sure.
