2 Week Canada Tour 2012

Avatar

Hey, was just wondering if anyone has done anything like this http://www.nonstopsnowboard.com/snowboard-camps/2-week-snow-safari/resorts before? Guided tours over 4 different mountains, over 2 weeks. I was looking at the 2nd option.

I’m planning on heading over to Canada next year but I’ve never been, don’t really know my way around or know the mountains, so I thought this would be a good idea. Any feedback would be appreciated :D

Dude, it would probably be similar to my NZ tour… only you would spend more time in each mountain. 2-3 days in each rather than 1.

I would suggest a tour (espec if you are travelling solo or just 2 people) as you always make good friends, might have people better than you to give you pointers and push you and you get to check out 4 mountains rather than being stuck at 1 (probably whistler if you went to canada lol).

Cheers for the replies guys :D That NZ trip looks sick, wonder if I can book one of those last minute raspberry was planning on heading up to NZ this season with a few mates but it was really unorganized so no one ended up committing..

Don’t know where the NZ snow is this season but if they get a few good dumps I’d consider heading over for a week and doing that as well.

Hey Koper, looks like it would be an epic trip! Four awesome mountains and local knowledge to go with it. If you do make it over to Whistler, give me a shout and we’ll go shredding!

If you call Haka Tours, they generally have room on the bus to add you in. Our tour was quite full with about 15 people, they won’t run a tour with <6 and most hover around the 10-12 mark.

I think you just have to make sure there is snow lol… Looking pretty green in NZ at the moment :(

And if you call Haka Tours, say you saw my post on Boardworld.com.au and they might do you a deal. Just for posting a review they offered me a discount for this years trip but I can’t make it to NZ unfortunately. I plan on going over again next year smile

Hey Rider, definitely hit you up if I make it over to Whistler. I’m pretty keen to get over there.

Yeah TJ, hopefully the weather lifts its game over there in NZ :| Defs mention your post and BW when/if I call them to book. If I don’t find the time to do the 7 day safari, I might even head up North over for the 3 day tour raspberry
