Fingers crossed the snow continues and they are able to open it again soon, along with Village, Heavenly, Gotcha etc etc etc

Following a wild and windy night and more than 20cm of fresh snow falling in the past 24 hours, Hotham is excited to announce the opening of the Summit and Roadrunner chairlifts tomorrow to bring the total number of operating lifts to five.

Between 30 and 60cm of snow is forecast to fall by the end of the week and the average natural snowdepth stands at 31cm as the snow continues to fall. A chilly -5.2 degrees on the mountain, Hotham’s Sundowner and Slalom Gully snowguns are currently in action with additional terrain being assessed for opening in the coming days as more snow falls and more snow is made to help build the base.

Adult lift tickets are now $69 per day and children can ski or ride for $34 (until further notice). With five lifts in operation – Big D, Summit Trainer, Summit, Roadrunner and Playground (to mid) – this is a great time to visit Hotham!

It’s been snowing all day again at Hotham Alpine Resort. Great news on top of the 29cm of fresh snow that fell in the previous 24 hours.

With snowguns firing and an average natural snowdepth of more than 45cm now, Hotham Alpine Resort will open the Village Chairlift on Friday followed by Cobungra Platter (Dinner Plain) on Saturday. This follows the opening of the Roadrunner and Summit Chairlifts today.

This exciting news will be welcomed by visitors flocking to the resort this weekend for the first weekend of the Queensland school holidays.

As of Saturday, ticket prices will be $95 for adults and $48 for children. Starting this weekend, the full range of snowsports lessons will also be on offer with half and full day kids program plus adult group lessons at 10am and 1.30pm daily. Private lessons also available.

A chilly blizzard has blown in 29cm of fresh snow in the past 48 hours at Hotham Alpine Resort, along with big weekend deals! 

With the average natural snowdepth now standing at 67cm and up to another 50cm of snow expected to fall by Saturday, Hotham is excited to announce that Heavenly Valley Chairlift will start turning around midday today – opening more terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders. The beginner lift at Dinner Plain, Cobungra Platter, will open tomorrow.
