I remember when we were kids, my mate had a “Monoshock” pushy that had Dirt Bike like front fork suspension on it!!!!!
We were ridin through the bush, and just as he get’s it up on the back wheel, the whole front end slips out from the forks and runs off into the bush!!!!! He eventually ends up puttin what was left of the front end to the dirt, and sails over the bars 10 meters through the air!!!!!! Funny as shit!!!!! (For some reason he didn’t think so????)
when i was a kid i was riding a 16 inch bike that had a loose goose neck, anywho was fanging down a fairly steep hill near my parents place in farmborough heights(brendon avenue for anyone who knows it). i didnt apply any brakes till about 3/4 of the way down, started doing fishtails for fun leaving black “s” marks down the road. until i got to near the bottom(it ends at a T intersection) and realised i wasnt going to stop in time, nor make the corner if i tried to turn.
So i jumped off the bike, but as i did it the handlebars fell down towards the seat and knocked my knee which prevented me from running as i intended. so i slid on my knees the remaining 2-3 metres until i crashed into the gutter and power pole. A guy who lived in hte house i crashed infront of was washing his car and watched the whole thing.
Luckily he ran inside, brought out a first aid kit and bandaged me up pretty good.
Learnt my lesson haha
