Limited edition snowboards

Avatar

Ok so alot of companies do a limited edition/run of some boards… now do these boards have value in the future.. does it increase etc?

For eg my partner has a 2011 Burton Lipstick Ltd Ed board

http://www.burton.com/womens-boards-lip-stick-limited-snowboard/244733,default,pd.html

you may have to click on the small pic near price to see it pop up bigger

so would this board or any others in the limited run be collectables etc in the future?

A few factors that ya would need,

- Very LTD run
- One off graphic colab with popular Artist
- Popular Board Shape/Model/Pro Model even better
- Kept in Absolute Mint Condition
- Kept for 20+ Years

Very hard to pick what could be of greater value in the future.

But rest assured, if you keep something long enough, someone will pay you a large amount of money for it.

I agree . . I have a limited Agression Board, definately not in perfect condition- pretty good tho for its age

IMO, one of the best womens’ board graphics ever. I love Francoise Nielly’s work. Here’s another:

it was funny when i showed her i didnt see the face first then she showed the board to some friends and it was only like after 100 times i had seen it and she said “see the face?” and i was like wtf theres a face???? i thought it was a bunch of squiggley lines slapped together!
