The Snowboard Brake - what do you make of this??
It will never make it into production. Such a stupid idea and I’m certain all the feedback from snowboarders will reflect that. There is no way anyone looking to make money from a viable business would go ahead with it.
Dave Kelly - one of the early Australian Pro boarders, developed a snowboard brake. It was simply to stop runaway boards and it was small, very different to the device in this thread.

It will never work because as Banger pointed out, where can you have your stomp pad?! Imagine skating along and you go to put your foot down where your stomp pad used to be and bang youve stacked it!
