How to set up a skateboard - BW video feat. CJ Parker

Check out this how to set up a skateboard video we filmed last year. Featuring our very own, CJ Parker.
Do you think we need to change anything?

Just watched it. I think its great. Nice clear step by step instructions, with helpfull tips included. Think its a great tutorial. 
Only thing I wasnt the biggest fan of was the Orange Boardworld screen at the end. Is the orange because of STM? I think it would look better with black background with orange/white text and logo.
Yeah I wasn’t a fan of the white logo on orange background. Michelle liked it though. Yeah the editor thought the orange theme worked better with the STM logo and fit in well with the feel of the video. Interested to hear everyone’s thoughts though…

If there was to be a background color, I think that red would be better to tie in with the color of the skate section and maybe my swimsuit . Black is also effective. Maybe before each part add in a screen shoot of what is about to happen. Like at the beginning it says setting up a skateboard, then have “gripping a deck”, “mounting truck”, “inserting bearing” and so forth. Just a thought.
Thats a good idea C J. It is a good way to break up the clip into segments.
Just depends how you do it because it could make the clip seem too long and drawn out. Its 8mins or so atm, and i think it has a nice flow too it.
Not saying dont give the segment screen shots, cos I think it could work great, but I do like the continuous flow of it now.

I do agree with K2 on the length of the clip!!!!! You might be able to trim a little more here and there???? eg. cutting grip tape????

Yeah had too. We needed to try and sell that board later on. Shame it was a poor effort setting it up making it impossible to sell ha ha ha I am too funny.
