only reason i even bought my converse’ was that they were $60,
mind you back when i was young(1994 to be exact) i was a phenominal long distance runner (if i do say so myself haha) and i had a $150 pair of running shoes, which isnt much for running shoes now but back then it was.
But i did my own little protest against expensive shoes for most of my high school years, i wore nothing but volleys.
And on the KT-26’S, i worked with a tradie that only wore(and i mean only, he had like 5 pairs of everything!);
-bonds shirt
-stubbies
-footy socks
-steel capped KT-26’S
top bloke but terrible dress sense
Hard to believe they were expensive at $25. Then Converse high tops came along at over $100.
I think even the most expensive football boots I got were $60. Hand made leather!!!!
Shoes are so over priced these days. How much are Ugg Boots - a bit of dead sheep wrapped around ya foot, cave men did that!!!
When I got my first “job”, I saved up and got myself a pair of Converse Hi Tops!!!!! They weren’t Chuck Taylors either!!!!! These little puppies cost me $150, and that was nearly 30 years ago!!!!

They were a LTD edition artist program!!!!! They also came in Pink, but they didn’t have any my size!!!!!

Yeah Mizu, they are good snow boots for sure. I think my boots are a little different; mine don’t have the furry top but they are quite similar. Maybe you have the women’s version?
