Teaser thread!
Snowboarding is fun, and the videos that are able to convey teh essence of fun in snowboarding through riding and on hill interactions is a difficult feat. it is often displayed in the lifestyle sections, rather than the riding.
...and you can’t really put that in a 3 minute teaser. Of the videos I’ve seen they all capture this ‘essence’ as you’ve called it. That sort of sense of the people just can’t be developed that quickly.
Soem of the early robot food films captured that… I remember feeling that way.
Then there are movies like “The morning out of Austin” which is more all about lifestyle than about snowboarding, but it a good change of pace. a different kind of film.

It was a free DVD that I got with maybe a magazine subscription…

kind of hard to capture an essence in a 3 minute teaser when half of it is taken up by the opening rave and the credits….

#you see what burton doesn’t want you to know is those riders are not real…just stunt doubles like me with cutting edge face cgi overlays.
