What are your goals this season?

If you really get bored of music podcasts can be a good substitute. Any old radio shows or comedy acts can be great to listen to.

I honestly havent found many decent podcasts.
The only one i fancy is of hamish and andy.

Hamish and Andy as well as Dr Karl’s science podcast is good (if you like what he talks about). Plenty of random comedy stuff of stand up acts if you look aroudn too.

I just go for comedy acts and then i rip the audio off it and listen to it.
Im a sucker for standups like russell brand

Russell Brand is good, I honestly think part of the laughs is from just watching him. He looks half crazy and does some weird facial expressions.

I love the accent and the fact that he is sex obsessed

Haha, his accent is definitely different to the stereotypical english one. His tv show ponderland is plenty of laughs. How do peopel find that sort of footage, lol

No idea but i guess thats what makes him so good at his job huh?
did you manage to catch him at the comedy festival?

Nope, sold out there but saw Stephen K Amos (a big fan). His show at the palace was also one I couldn’t get tickets to.

I bought tickets to russell brand before he went on rove.
right after he made his appearance on rove, his tickets sold out immediately

Yeah, rove is a little bit like the australian oprah, people just listen to what happens on his show and they go for the buy.

Yeah but he actually has funny guests on most of the times.
Oprah is turning into more of a sobstory show or a rags-to-riches show.
Dont get me wrong, i do appreciate what oprah is doing i just dont like the show

Back on topic; I’ll get one of my two runs in a couple of weeks if the snow is still worth it

Magnatune podcasts. a good way to sample new music too.
I found them through iTunes, and you can get different styles of music. Indian music is a cool change of pace. Piano music too. I found a great pianist… Rob Costlow… I bought his stuff after that and have really enjoyed it.

Slider, by Indian, you mean actually indian/bollywood or indie music?
Cos I really despise bollywood for the tunes and the fact that its so incomprehensible
