Just found this site looks great, about time we had an aussie snow site that wasnt dominated by baby boomer skiers .
Been boarding for 6 years and just got back from my first full season in whistler, heading back over again in november,

Where were you working/living in Whistler? I was there all last season. Several Boardworld members were there all season and we actually have quite a few Whistler locals/residents on here too. It wouldn’t surprise me if you knew a few of us.

I worked for intrawest in the village/blackcomb vaults counting cash, and handing out change orders, so if you worked for intrawest and needed to get some change you have prob met me.
I lived in the village in eagle lodge with my gf, nice spot noisy when garfs went off though.
How about you guys?
Lived in a house in Nordic. I teach snowboarding based in Whistler village. Out of my housemates, one of my friends worked at Showcase, one at Dusty’s, one at guest relations, one is a supervisor/trainer for ski school privates, my girlfriend is ski school… there are also quite a few snowboard instructors and locals from Whistler on here. No doubt we would have crossed paths at some point.

I won’t be, my girlfriend is moving here (from Whistler) for a year, so we are here for the summer. Others mentioned will be. There are quite a few permanent Whistler locals on Boardworld.
Chicken club sandwiches were awesome at Dusty’s (until they started cutting costs).

hiya…like the site and love snowboarding…pity my annual days in the snow are in the single digits but my goal is to do at least 30 days a year so better keep on working as that will not be cheap!
