At first she was caught up in the flow of thousands of tons of snow, but she somehow managed to get back upright and ride her way down to safety.
ummm, no. When the avy stopped she got up.
but yeah, she was hella lucky she didn’t get pulled under.
My buddy set off an avy today. Luckily he had time to scoot into the trees before it got up to speed.
More soberingly (is that a word?) a friend of a friend died 2 weeks ago in a massive slide. We think it was set off by the earthquake.
