hey guys!
been a few weeks. Did the wedding thing which was good fun! It rained and we ended up having it indoors but didn’t bother us in the slightest. How bad can anything be with most of your favourite people in the world in one room - a lot of them having made a huge effort to get there?? Tore my dress on the way home when it got caught in the gears of our tandem bike hahaha.
Then we went away with the 6 of freddy’s fam who made the journey over from sweden and did a road trip out to broken hill, down to mildura and back again so they could get an idea of the enormity of australia and hopefully see some of the outback. All the floods meant it was a bit greener than last time we were there a year and a half ago but still amazing. They went home yesterday & now its back to normal life & I gotta figure out what to do to change my name n stuff!
I think something weird happened to freddy while we were away to australianise him cos he bought a kangaroo leather akubra style hat in broken hill and within 2 days of coming home bought a ‘75 kingswood?!?!
Nice one cords! I’m glad you guys had a great wedding. It rained all day at my sister’s wedding but it made no difference at all. It was such a fun day and you’re right, so good to have so many close friends and family all in one room. You will have to post some photos when you get some spare time.
“Oh Pickle me Grandmother, Not The Kingswood!!!!! Not the bloody Kingswood!!!! Someone should blow those Nuns up!!!!!”
I think there are only about 3 of us that will get this….
“Bloody Dog… it’s bloody collar bone went through me brand new radials!”
^Yeah
I think I’m taking a couple days off the mountain. It’s been so full-on for the last few weeks. Body is sore, muscles are tired, really needed a sleep in today. It’s been so satisfying out there, I think a couple days off will let all the stoke sink in a bit. Also I have about 1000 emails to catch up on and a ‘to do’ list a mile long.
Also Matt from Oz Snow Adventures said he will get back to me next week regarding accommodation in Thredbo for the Shred.
We are building a chook pen today, in about two months time, we’ll be eating fresh bum nuts Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

oh you poor little thing!
here’s probably my fave pic that I’ve seen so far from the wedding. We didn’t have a plan even the night before the wedding for how we were gonna leave, we thought we’d just walk home but after a bit of hassling I remembered an idea I’d had a few months ago that maybe we could borrow a friend of ours tandem bike. Him and some others were kind enough to lend it, clean it up and pimp it a bit (you can see the cardboard just married sign behind my bum) and the cans hanging off the back.
We were sposed to have a practice earlier in the day but it didn’t eventuate & I was so sure we were gonna stack it front of everyone but we managed to pull off a fairly smooth exit! Good for a laugh anyway.
This was about 30secs to a minute before the demise of the dress. haha I think you can already nearly see how some of it is gonna get caught in the gears near the chain.
Thats rockin !!! Loving your work
You look like you have had the best time of your life !!!!
