I spoke a very good friend of mine who just started in the ticket office, he had no idea of pricing for groups and the head of group bookings isn’t at work today - I’ll call her tomoz.

SkiTube wont work for anyone trying to get to Thredbo. Anyway it’s a $50 return ticket!!!!

Jason - so you’ll pay $30-$60 per night at Jindy backpackers, travel up and down by car each day - that’s $20 fuel a day and pay park entry of $27 a day.
Do the math = (min) $150 (but more like $250) to stay in Jindy and slide Thredbo for the weekend. For an extra $50 you can stay in thredbo, have a cooked breakfast not have 1.5hrs travelling each day, be part of the social group (probably win prizes) and have much less hassle.

Also you could do a mini riders challenge. Everyone who wants to play puts their name in a hat and writes a challenge and puts it in another hat. Name gets drawn, then a challenge to match. Only small fun/silly stuff that could be done on the mtn easily.

Booking House Of Ullr isn’t as urgent as the Condo. Ullr (being a hotel) have a lot of beds and numbers can rise and fall without changing the price (unless it’s in the 20’s range).

It’ll be a bit of a hassle to do the group book thing with the lifts as a few of us might be doin the early bird season pass!!!!

Early bird pass is definitely happening - the bean counters at Thredbo just haven’t crunched the beans yet!!
Tomorrow I’ll know what sort of numbers is considered a group. I can’t see it being that big a hassle!!!

There are other options for lift tickets also;
5day none-consecutive pass through the Thredbo club card.
Club card gives you a discounted lift pass by 10% and each 8th day free.
