So im sitting here wishing i could be overseas snowboarding right now.
Unfortunately the funds didnt allow it this year, but the wheels are in motion for a Euro 2012 trip.
Thinking of doing some time in St Anton then heading over to the Dolomites.
Just looking at maps and the Dolomites is a MASSIVE area and i was wondering if anyone had ridden over there before and recommend any specific area. Obviously there is Cortina which is the fancy pants village that all the rich and famous go to. Is the terrain any good there?
The Dolomite Superski pass can get you access to all the different resorts but they arent all interlinked by lifts, but you can bus between them.
Anyone know what area would be best to stay at where you could access the most terrain/resorts without having to jump on a bus.
From what ive read Arabba /Sellaronda seems to have the largest interlinked terrain that i can find, but i dont know whats its like.
Any advice would be useful.
Thanks in advance.
Was there a few years ago. Stayed at Campitello di Fassa but don’t remember much about the terrain.
Campitello was nice but very small.
Thats about it from me
