Avatar

I quickly put this edit together from the footage I grabbed on Wednesday..

Big thanks to Pete (rah) for lending me his gopro for the day cool smirk

Obviously feel free to throw me any feedback since I’m still very new to this whole editing thing.

Cheers

Nice edit mate, such a fun day. It’s so cool to see the day from someone else’s perspective. I’ve got so much footage for the last week and I just don’t have the energy to go through it all. This last week has destroyed me haha. It will happen though. wink

My only suggestion, and I may be wrong here, but I feel the GoPro makes some pretty unappealing sounds when it records during that sort of activity. I think if there’s no audio that’s beneficial to the actual video, then probably best to completely mute the GoPro audio and let the music play. If there’s some good audio, lower the music and introduce the GoPro audio for that part. Just an idea.  cool smile

is there an option on the HD version to be more sensitive to high or low frequency sounds? I know on my old version there is something like that and it helped playing around with it depending on the activity to get rid of the high pitch scratchy sounds when it gets nocked. For example i would have it on one setting for when mounted on my car to block the wind whistle, and a different setting when mountainbiking to try to eliminate those bashing sounds when branches hit my helmet and cam.
