Nuh, today was seriously the deepest snow with the biggest base I’ve ever seen in Whistler. Our base it at 330cm and snow is still falling. 170cm in the last 5 days. Crazy man!

finney, you were up 3 hours ago? Haha it’s 7:30am.

25cm overnight again. I’m heading up first chair.

Have fun everyone! Krick and I did some awesome shredding yesterday. I’ll post more when I get back today. It’s so funny, there’s so much snow and everyone is too happy and exhausted to talk about it.  LOL

No worries Krick, great riding with you!

Such an epic day out there today. Was anyone up there this afternoon? The lighting was just perfect, and I’ve never seen Whistler Blackcomb looking so picturesque. I was so bummed I left my camera at the house after lunch. The photos would have been unreal. It’s the main reason I’m opening this new contest, I want to see some epic photos…

Basically you have a week from now to post your best photos from the recent storm(s). The sun is coming out for the next few days, so get out there and get some photos. Best photo wins a a set of Dragon Rogue goggles and a Boardworld t-shirt. Photos must be posted into this thread by the end of Friday, February 25th.

cool grin

I was at blackcomb today. 7th was still pretty good at some parts. But today it was like moguls galore for me, just moguls and bumps everywhere I go haha. So tired and knees hurting from doing that all day. But yeah, it was really picturesque today. Didn’t bring my camera so have to settle with a Blackberry =(

Keep those ankles loose. Work your feet/legs independently over the bumps. Be soft on your edges, stay balanced, and ride through the bumps. Takes practice but much easier on the legs.

Thanks Jez. I’ve been trying to practice to change edge quick after every bump/mogul (toe-heel-toe-heel). Kinda am able to do it on blue runs. Once it gets to steeper black runs, couldn’t change edge constantly. More like heelside falling leaf with the toeside turn here and there but not riding through the moguls like on the blue runs.
