BOARDWORLD SHRED ~ Downunder ’11

If we can book the alpine hotel for 4 days Wed/thurs/fri/saturday nights and someone is willing to have me as a roomie, book me in asap!

Or if we decide on the house in crackenback, put me down for a bed slot for however long we book for hahaha. I’ll work out how I plan to pay for it once its confirmed.

I really think that the Alpine Hotel would still be pretty good!!!!!

* Smack Bang in the Village

* Right in front of the main terminal

* Pool/Spa/Sauna

* Rooms that can handle 2/3/4/10 (Caters for the Group Jeff + Crew and also Azz’s needs at the same time)

* Price normally includes an All Ya Can Eat Buffet Breaky (No need for Lunch) And a great place to meet in the Morning before hittin the hill

* Parking right at the doorstep

* Close proximity to the Duck Pond, Dan/rider

* A very short stagger home from the bars/night club

* Bottle’O’ (Although it is recommended to BYO as it is $$$$ in the resort)

* Has also got conference rooms or even the Lounge Bar that has a fire place, heaps of lounges and cushions, to lay around and maybe watch some of the days video or even one of the latest snowboardin vids on the market????

I’ve had this every spring for the last few years and it includes 2 days lifts/2 night Accommodation/2 Buffet Breakfasts all for $250-$270 PP!!!!!

Oh yeah!!!!! I forgot to add

* Rooms are serviced, so nobody will have to deal with any Housework as well!!!!! (Or get lumbered with any also)

Call them and get a price for 2 and 4 day trips and we can confirm and send you money to book us in already!

Meanwhile, still looking for someone in North Sydney area or going via Hume Highway to offer me a lift. I’ll chip in Petrol and have 1.5 licenses if you need me to drive (Full manual Car and P plates on a Motorbike lol)

And I need someone to split the room with lol.

Or I convince one of my friends to do a second trip!

TJ you can travel with me at some time leading up to that week, if I’m up there, (you can catch the train out to me or I’ll drive your way and get you) and stay with me until your accom kicks in.

Rider also offered space in his car.

There will be no shortage of available transport for those that don’t have.

It really doesn’t matter for video screenings. Any bar in Thredbo is happy for me to screen video any (or every) night of the week - I get to have my pick.
Hell, for a price we could set up an outdoor cinema on Friday Flat if we wanted to be ridicules! or use the Kosciuszko Room which has a 20’ screen (not 20” - twenty foot).

I’m not a fan of the Lounge Bar, I don’t know why? It rubs me wrong. At that time of year the pool area of the TAH could be another outdoor option for screenings.
So many possible venues!!!!!!!

Sweet as, I can do any of those days and will whore myself out if needed (probably unsuccessfully lol) or sleep on someone’s floor if I have to .

Hey Spaz, can you please put me down for a possible until I talk to my boss!

I’m starting to feel the need to start a new thread - this one seems like the “is anyone interested thread”
That way as interest in winter increases new or long time absent BWM will have a fresh read instead of 15 odd pages to get up to speed. (I just read through all 15 while making the new tally)

Should maybe give it a few more weeks before locking this thread?????
