I can’t find our waxing iron! Ahhhhhh!
I think Michelle’s brother lent it to someone…
Feel free to borrow mine if you can’t find yours.
Thanks Dan. So we all doing dinner and drinks on Sunday night? I vote Sushi Village so I can get another jumbo hot saki.
I’m keen for dinner & drinks at sushi Village Will check with Pete and Rhiannon.
So we’re ditching finney?
you’re all dead to me..
hahaha no he was just a given
I hope 7th will be open tomorrow
Should be open tomorrow, don’t see why not given the winds are calming down tonight from the forecasts I’ve seen.
Personally I’m hoping the alpine stays closed tomorrow since I’m working
It’s been pewking snow all day! I had to miss today so was very happy no alpine opened Tomorrow could be epic if the alpine opens…
HOLY POW, CRAZY LIFT LINES
I thought I’d get to the Creekside Gondola early this morning before they opened, you know, to beat the crowds.
I get down there at 8:15am and this is what I see…
After some hustle on my part, I was on the gondola in about 25 minutes instead of an hour. Finally got up the top and did a run through Ratfink. Caught up with finney and we a few nice runs and ended in the Village as the lift lines were INSANE everywhere! I decided to do one more run and ride home to Creekside and wait for everyone to get off the mountain. It was dumping snow all day, I would say at least 20cm accumulated today, maybe more in the Alpine. Just got back from two epic late afternoon runs. The snow was thigh deep in places and no lift lines whatsoever.
Here’s one I pulled from the GoPro from earlier in the day…
Can’t wait for tomorrow…
yep Jeremy summed up this morning.. painfully long lift lines.
Just got back from an afternoon shred with another friend who worked all morning and had 3 insane runs at the end. 1st 2 shot through whis park and under the chair and it was almost like nobody had ridden it all day, knee deep for a lot and thigh deep in parts. After that we bolted down to garb for one last lap and scored more fresh down raven, club 21, the lower section of seppos and under the village gondi.
Fingers crossed no alpine opens again tomorrow so it’s all left there waiting for the non weekend crowd on Monday
GoPro edit from Monday uploading now.
sweet Jeremy!
