It’s finally snowing here. 3cm overnight with another 10cm forecast during the day. 
Have a good trip mate. I was riding almost every day anyway. 
Just watched the Miami Heat game on TV, about to go riding now. It looks good outside!

Just got back from Land of the Rising Sun yesterday, and straight back at work today

Supposed to go up to Åre on Friday but now I have this awful flu I have to get rid of in 2 days. yay me : (
Was so fun the last two days in Åre. been hiking offpiste. its snowing now to and supposed to be sunny tmrw.
took my New Gopro for its first run…..and discovered that many of Spazs pole cam tips (which i doubted) are very much true!!!
hahahaha….now i just have to work on a counter weight!

Na! all good, I’m used to being doubted. That happens when you put spaztheory on the net.
Just find something weighty and gaffa tape it bellow your hand grip.
I just had an idea; maybe a small plastic juice bottle with gravel or sand in it, that way you can adjust the amount while on the hill.
haha, I should rephraze that actually. I know that counter weights work but I doubted that anyone would use a pole setup enough to get sore wrists etc , I thought that only people using it everyday for work over and over would have to bother doing that.
I still think that applies for my short 40cm pole but jeez you were definitely right for my 150cm pole. it works but its a pain in the arse, i got a sore wrist after just one run, although it was a 3 minute powder run, but still! Ill post some more on it in the polecam thread.

been MIA again for a bit. Just spent a week on a road trip up the coast with some swedish mates. 2 vans, 7 people & a tent! Awesome fun and definitely got post-trip depression today. A lot of longboarding fun (on your blue foamy crackers!) & some skating too. I didn’t know any of them super well before I went but have made some firm friends & I think they’re all coming to the wedding in less than a month! (eeeeekkk!)
We stopped at anna bay, north haven, crescent head for 2 nights (incl a round of golf & bowls at the country club), ballina (sick skate park!), surfers for 2 nights (night out sat and wet n wild sunday) and then wynnum just outside brissy. Flew home from brissy yesterday arvo (got a $28 flight!).
The others are up at noosa already & I’ve never been there so I’m jealous but alas my funds didn’t allow me to continue. I think they are going to australia zoo as well which makes me even more jealous. I know I’m lucky to have a nice place to come home to though, so not too many complaints!

Sounds like a wicked little trip. Ballina skate park is pretty damn good.
