Leaving the Bahamas today. Just packing and getting ready. It’s always sad to leave a holiday, but not when you’re going back to Whistler.  grin

but I was at Kungsberget on Thursday, damn what an awesome day it was! my first shredding for this season, couldnt have been better :D
where you at now, crackers?

Yeh I heard it rained down south. Unrucky! its still minus 6 here. Im in Ostersund, most snow ive seen here for this time of year, its chest high in town on the sides of the road.

been up in Are the last week and lofsdalen before that, heading back up to Are mid week and then going down to Salen for 4days.

how was the park at kungsberget????

the girls ive been riding with have been killing it, throwing 5s,7s and even some 9s…....ive been keeping right behind them with some big shiftys…hahahaha so lame!

here is some picks of a place called Frösöskidlek ...they provide lights, rails and a couple of jumps and you can build whatever you want, there is no lifts but its all free and its usually just my mates there.

ill put some footage up as soon as i can steal some more internet smile

Quiet week in the Line Up!

Busy week for me ending with getting metal in my eye while angle grinding yesterday. We got a piece out last night but I still think there’s a bit still in there and I find it hard to use the computer because I have to keep that eye closed.

Hey Boardworldians

Been quiet on here so thought id see what everyone is up to for the week?
Myself, im heading down to Tasmania for the week to do my usual stuff. Not sure if we are gonna be paddling, biking, rockclimbing or bush walking. Really weather dependant. Not a bad birthday present!
Still finalising a few things for Japan, insurance and money etc. Its looking good over there and cannot wait!

Quick question for those of you who have been to Japan, and moreso Hakuba specifically, Did you carry all your money in cash? or Use credit? Is there many ATMs in Hakuba? I have been told that most places in japan still deal only in cash, and there isnt really an abundance of ATMs like there is here. Just dont like the idea of carrying my entire money for the trip in cash on me, and i dont have a credit card.

Yo, I have spent the last three days building a new workshop.
15 x 8 mtrs of floor area, 6.4 mtrs at the tallest and 3.6 mtr walls.

Been a family affair, my wife, boys, cousins, cousins kids all working our backsides off.

We have the frame up now, time to start cladding the monster.

K2, have a blast in Tassie, we love it down there. As soon the kids exit home, Tambazz are a moving to Hobart for a while.

Just take your cash to Japow, it’ll be sweet. When we were there a few years back, one of the boys left his board laying on the side of the carpark as he jumped on the bus back to our acomm. Last bus for the day, so it had to stay there all night.
Not only was the board still there, some nice person had picked it up and put it in a board rack under cover for him.  cool smile Japan is the friendliest place ever.

Glad someone is working Mizu, I need good folk like you paying tax to fund my retirement tongue wink

We are heading to Tuross head for a week from next Sunday Yeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww going to rad.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow K2, go forth and misbehave.

Happy birthday K2! grin

I’ve decided not to go riding today. With yesterdays rain and no fresh snow, I’m just not feeling enough motivation to get up there. I’ve also got a bunch of work to do, trying my hardest to get the skate section and other changes up in the next week. For several reasons we couldn’t launch when we wanted to, but it’s almost there. oh oh

More urgently, it’s our anniversary tomorrow and I need to go last-minute shopping for Michelle today!  grrr

For a sec there I thought you meant Boardworlds anniversary!

Rain! Ha, Canada doesn’t know the meaning of the word. The news reporters are loving the term “inland tsunami” to describe a flash flood that washed away a whole town. I think a tsunami has to be caused by seismic activity not rain?

I used to complain about work makin me wear safety specs, but now I even wear em at home when I have any power tool in me hands!!!!

Next thing you know you’ll be wearing a hairnet while cooking.  cool hmm

My eye is better but vision on that side is a little blurred, I’m well overdue to see an optometrist (10 years) - pretty sure I should have glasses by now.

hey everyone,

back from Indo. Had some good times on Bali and Lombok and some fun waves but nothing amazing. Went out in the biggest waves I’ve been out in for ages (easy double overhead for the standups), pulled into some good barrels on my boogs but we lost the fricken gopro! It was just dumb though, we swapped the board it was on last minute & didn’t put a leash on or a float. Devo to lose all our footage.

Freddy spent a good 6 or 7 days out of the trip sick & Indo is not a fun place to be when you’re sick. We had to travel back from lombok (3hrs boat, 2.5hrs car) while he had food poisoning & he was super ill, nearly fainting on the boat, seeing stars. Then when we finally made it to the hotel in Kuta, they had a black out & the fans didn’t work for 16hrs! It was so hot - I wasn’t sick & I couldn’t sleep & was lying there drenched in sweat, i felt so sorry for him being that sick & stuck there! Ended up making it home & Still glad I went though - traveling is always more fun than being at home!

So many rude australian bogans around kuta - its embarrassing!

Hey! been AWOL again….sounds like everyone is having a blast….besides freddy the spewing swede! I really should be nice to him though seeing he was one of the 20 or so people that just shouted me to flights, accom and most importantly tickets to the Tottenham v Man u game last sunday…....Pretty darn nice surprise present, if i don’t say so myself!

I had no idea it was even happening, my Gf managed to convince me to take a train down south for a few days even though i was supposed to be going to one of the best parks in sweden for 5days….glad i made the trip!

now Im just down near stockholm until tmrw (luckily cause its raining) and then heading back up north again…..

hope everyones getting snow…and waves for u Mizu (with out fog wink...)

The last few days haven’t been great in Whistler for snow. We received a lot of precipitation in the form of rain. I hate watching the snow melt away!  shut eye

I’m heading out for a shred now. I’ll be back in a few hours. smile
