Wetsuits

Hey all,

So atm I have a pretty old 4/3mm west wetsuit that is heavy as and hard to move around in so looking at getting something a bit stretchier and maybe warm enough for winter still.

Thought I would start a wetsuit thread to see what everyone is using and what their recommendations are for the colder waters!

I ended up going with a ripcurl 3/2mm e-bomb because i found one so cheap on the net! $260 new including postage to tas! Tried on an o’neill 4/3 suit also which was awesome. Hoping that i can survive a bit later into the year in this 3/2mm though.. i’m thinking that it will nearly be as warm as my dodge 4/3 anyhow. 

Just needed something with alot of flex i think, after surfing in boardies from my stiff 4/3mm i had a dramatic improvement in my paddling strength.  It is definitely not boardies weather down here yet so just boardies is not an option haha
