Check out my first edit
This was the first time I have used the GoPro and also my first time editing - so go easy on me. 
Any feedback is welcome.

nice first edit!....I agree with mizu, a pole works nicely and would get more of you and your turns in the picture….harder to ride with though.
my mate got a GoPro off sportscamera.com.au after we saw them on the forum.
here is his first edit of some of us,he put up today….its all bodyboarding and some surfing, no snowboarding in this one.
Some of it has some pole cam variations on it though that we are trying out, and they seem to work ok,
haha go the skier getting in your way!!

That surfing edit was really cool too! The GoPro is definitely impressive.
Nice Job Rider! Major props for using ‘The Boys’ for music too! Made me miss NY and Tahoe snow at the same time

That Beastie Boys track was the first track I selected and I wasn’t sure if it was a good fit, but I went with it anyway. Track number two from Paul’s Boutique, one of my old favourites.
That’s a sick edit, CRACKERS. There’s some really interesting angles going on there. The pole on the bodyboard works really well.

You need to pan/crop (Sony Vegas) your footage and choose the template with your desired resolution eg 1920x1080.
Also, instead of the 4:3 ratio (Square) use the 16:9 widescreen to remove the side borders.

I have been thinking about it and I think it really sucked !!!!!!!!!!!! What you really need is ME doing the camera work for you !!!!!!!!!! Then while your editing the days footage, I can be in the hot tub.

I still haven’t booked my knee surgery and your vid is another reason not to.
You should taken one of the poles off the dude that did the nice turn. Then rigged up a polecam for the second half of the vid.
