I’m working on it Mizu. I just bought a GoPro, so I’ll be out filming soon. I was having too much fun during the first week to bother with filming. It’s coming though…

When I saw the snow falling late last night I made the decision to go riding today. I was there for pretty much first lift and rode till about 1pm. It was so good out there; got some awesome powder lines. I took the GoPro out for a test also, so hopefully I’ll get up some footage soon. My back is feeling ok, I’ll probably feel it tonight.

Absolutely insane day riding up there, really starting to push it a bit more and having a lot more fun knowing the knee is getting stronger.. feels fine even after a few huge cartwheels which I’m sure jeremy has some footage of hahaha

The arch of my foot is completely cramped so I’ll head into the village later with my boots and get some custom footbeds made up but it’s a small price to pay to ensure comfort through the season.

Sounds like awesome fun guys! Will be cool to see vids of it.

I went and checked out Blackcomb today. Had heaps of fun in the powder and just exploring the mountain. Had some funny stacks and got stuck haha.

Having good foot beds will make all the difference!

Yeah I hade some outlast superfeet things I bought in jindy which seemed to be working well but after a big powder day they just couldn’t cut it.

Went to Surefoot last night and got some custom ones made up for $150incl tax, bit of cash but if it’ll keep me out on the mountain longer and give better support it’s a good investment.

I’m working on it right now. It was my first day out with the new camera and I was holding it freehand, so my angles didn’t turn out too good (I was using the day as an experiment). This will also be my first ever edit so don’t hold it against me if my editing skills are lacking. wink

This is what I’ve heard…

Peak Chair opens on Friday, Crystal and Harmony Chair opens on Saturday (weather permitting).

Good times!  grin

Thats great news, I did notice last saturday that Crystal was open when I was riding out on blackcomb so I’m keen to see what the cover is like out that way. Also saw them outputting the chairs on peak today so looks like they’ve done a dry run getting them all on and off today which backs up what you’re saying about friday as the opening.

1st day of riding with the custom footbeds today and my feet were a little sore at first with my feet just getting adjusted to them but after a couple of runs they were magnificent, feet felt amazing at the end of the day so looks like money well spent there grin

POWDER DAY - NOV 30

This was my first time using the GoPro HD. I was just holding it in my hand and I didn’t get to review the footage till I finished riding. I will get better angles next time. This was also my first time editing, but please give me feedback so I can improve. It’s been fun.  cool smirk
