Burton deep thinker board size

Hi guys, about to buy a Burton Deep Thinker. Id say im an intermediate rider looking to progress on a more agressive all mountain board. Love charging groomers and getting amongst the trees as well.
Im around 175cm tall and around 80-85kgs. My old board is 157 but definitely a softer flex rating. Would a 154 be too small? Or would I be better on a 157?

Where will you be riding this board mainly?

Im in Vic, so mainly Buller, falls and hotham. Hoping to get to NZ and Japan as well in the next couple of years so thought it would be handy for a bit of Pow as well.

Even though it’s a directional board with taper, I’d still go for the 157 if you’re thinking of taking it to Japan. It’s tough when you’re mainly riding Australia but also want to ride it for Japan. You have to sacrifice somewhere. Do you sacrifice manoeuvrability for Aus or float for Japan? I’d probably go bigger for Japan and just tell you to ride harder and faster in Aus.
