hi all,
so i setting up my GFs bindings and cant figure out why the back plate is adjustable and can be set differently (forward or back) on each side. i have NOW drive bindings that are fixed so i haven’t noticed this but it seems all Burton bindings come with the inside set forward and the outside set back. Can any explain to me why they do this?
Hey @Crouse,
Are you talking about that screw on the side of the binding in the middle of the photo?
If so, that (should be) for the highback rotation. You want to rotate the highbacks so they are parallel with the heel edge. Loosen the screws, rotate the highback, pull it back all the way back so it’s flush with the binding frame, then tighten. Now Bindings don’t have highback rotation as their design doesn’t need to be rotated.
Thanks heaps, that answered my question on the dime.
