Hey dudes,
Just wondering if the 2018 version of these boards are the same/ do both have symmetrical radius cuts and is the asym found in the 3bt?
??any1?? :3
Welcome to BW, @ChineseMoist.
I can’t say with absolute certainty, but yes, I am fairly sure they are the same board besides for the graphics. Everything seems to match up and Lobster is an off-shoot of Bataleon as you probably know. I can’t spot any differences in shape, materials or construction.
Yes, the asym is also found in the 3BT. It’s quite interesting.
ASYM 3BT™ is a twist on our twin design that balances your body’s build on the board with shorter edge uplift area on the heelside, which offers better heelside stability. At the same time the toeside edge, where you have more control and leverage over the board, has a longer uplift section for a loose, playful feeling. The board shape remains completely twin; We dont mess with the radii, it’s only the uplift that is asymmetrical.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
I think the carbon placement is different inside
