Elbow surgery for ruptured ulnar collateral ligament

So I’m going in for surgery Tuesday to repair my ruptured ulnar collateral ligament on my right elbow following a dislocation last sat arvo at falls.

Have Been told it will be 5-6 month recovery time. Has anyone had this injury before?
