Skateboarding is officially an Olympic sport

This is going to be hilarious.

I’m in two minds about this:

1. It does kind of go against what skateboarding is about and because of that (and drug policies) you’re not going to get some of the best skaters (pretty much no one in the Baker/Deathwish/Junt camp).

But

2. Imagine being able to turn on your telly and watch pro skatebarding like it was a normal thing. Plus the hilarity of standard TV anchors trying to get a grip of trick names/lingo should be pretty funny.
