what do you guys think of the dire snow levels over there? Cortina are closing
their 2 main lifts today. around myoko bases are around half metre mark. only
dribbles of snow over the next week. I leave in 4 weeks,maybe…...

I reckon 4 weeks time it’ll be a whole lot better!!!!!
Not sure if this is just a really bad year, but even in a bad year, Feb is the equivalent of our August so it’ll be peak conditions!!!!!
I head over to Myoko on Feb 9 and looking at the 14 day outlook it’s getting better. I agree with Mizu - give it another 2-3 weeks and I think it will be a different story…

We arrive on the 9th and fly out late on the 15th. Staying at the Akakura Sun Hotel. Should catch up for a drink (said in my Chris Gayle voice).

Let’s hope the long range forecast is on the money and we get some decent powder over there. A mate of mine got back this morning from Hakuba, arrived there on Xmas day and said that while it was a mixed bag (some great pow and some average groomers depending on the day) it was still pretty good all things considered:
