Gilson boards.
Yeah, I’ve heard about em last year. There couple of reviews on thegoodride.com. Seems too weird for me haha.
I haven’t heard of them. Looks interesting, my instinct is telling me the same as Skip, but like all things, it’s something I’d be willing to try before praising or discrediting.
At least from what I can see “Precision Contoured Base Technology” is in the linked article — this is nothing new. It’s been done for ages, i.e. Burton’s positive/negative core profiles. The rest looks a bit weird to me. I don’t know when I’d ever want a “soft edge” — but again, I’d be interested to try it for the fun of it.

The pow channel looks interesting to me. I’d want to try it first, but I can see the potential benefits here. I think this more than anything else is pretty interesting.
Has anyone actually tried any of these boards?
^ Haha yeah…. that’s my thoughts exactly… I know I heard about it last year but I sorta just didn’t even look at it.
Although I’m curious to try to see how it goes, but I’m slightly skeptical but curious.
