Sauber looking very different this year
And the McHonda
Got to say I’m a bit disappointed with the McLaren!
Got to say I’m a bit disappointed with the McLaren!
When i first saw it, I thought it was the new Sauber. I dont think its that bad though.
Haha looks like you and Shane weren’t the only ones that hated the McHonda livery.
Ron Dennis has confirmed they will change the livery soon… likely to a red and white pattern like the old Hondas.
Jerez testing has Shaken things up a bit. With Vettels Ferrari being the star of the day. (please, please don’t let him be champion again…ever.)
McHonda well off the pace, with Alonso’s best time 18 seconds off Vettels time.
Drivers for RBR, and Mercedes saying they can notice a marked improvement in their cars. Hopefully RBR more so, would love to see Danny as champion.
and there were some other cars there as well.
While it might have been putting out some poor times (really poor) the McHonda does sounds pretty beastly.
RBR In test livery, looks pretty cool. should change it to be team colours, and keep it like that haha. Mess with the other drivers heads.
McLaren have already announced that they will be changing their livery at some point but won’t say when and will depend on sponsorship.
Apparently whatever electrical problems they had at first day of testing have already been fixed. Hopefully we don’t have another repeat of last year where McLaren are utterly mediocre!
Foxtel and ten are now sharing the rights to f1. Only 10 races will be on ten, including Melbourne, spa and Monaco. No monza or suzuka though :( looks like I’ll be getting foxtel.

Yeah, and they still cant put the FTA broadcasts on HD :/
I was planning on getting rid of foxtel… guess ill be keeping it. lol.
Shame we dont live closer, could do F1 BBQs and have it up on a projector screen.
And so the 2015 season officially has begun.
If you haven’t watched quali yet, the rest of this post has spoilers.
So the season has started, and it looks to be the Mercedes show again, with Lewis, and Nico taking the front row.
Williams and Ferrari taking up the 2nd and 3rd rows. with Massa, Vettel, Raikkonen, then Bottas.
Then our boy, Dan Ricciardo 7th on the grid.
Red bulls no.2 driver Daniil Kvyat, looks to have been raised to the big boy seat a little early and has come in at 13th on the grid.
The McHondas are still having troubles, and underperformed leaving them in 17th and 18th on the grid. With Magnusen filling in for Alonso, who is still recovering from his accident in testing.
I’d like to say it looks to be an exciting race, but really it looks to be a replay of last year.
Hopefully Red Bull, and McHonda can tweak their problems and bring the fight to Mercedes before its to late.’
McLaren suck so bad!! I couldn’t believe how slow they were. Not surprised with how red bull went., Ricciardo’s car was sounding really off at the end of practice this afternoon. Still massively disappointed in the sound of the cars, it’s just not the same atmosphere at the track :(
That said the fa18 super hornet was awesome as always and the weather was beautiful so all in all a good day. Next year I’ll be back to 4 day grandstand instead of slumming it in GA for the day. DR11FT3Rzz we are getting our tickets for next year early July.
Good old Albert park!
Turn 9/10

Oh yeah, i almost forgot… Sydney hass actually put their hand up, saying they’d like to take the Formula 1, and host it in Sydney…
AHAHAHAHAHA…. ok now thats out…
They somehow think running ti across the Harbor Bridge would work as well. :/
Sorry sydney, you just cant beat Albert park… the only place that would come close is maybe somewhere on the gold coast. but no. just no. Melbourne is the home of Australias GP.
