But you would be pulling bacon out of a ziplock bag that you stashed from FreshTracks breakfast.

HAHA! That is the only thing you do during fresh tracks! Take all the bacon put them in ziplock for later, nevermind eating before you board! =)

+1 on grrls can ride harder too.

Coz it seems to me that you and Lu were riding pretty damn hard and steezy when I saw you gaiz from Emerald lifts. =)
And to segway into clothing, I wouldn’t have noticed that it was you and Lu if not for the Hi-viz orange on your jacket, and the Pink/yellow combo on Lu.

For me Colors are a must, maybe except for blue, too many ppl wearing blue. LOL.

Yeah I’m with you Grunge. Colours mean I can find you on the mountain. Especially when I’m doing a season. Even if it’s just for a lap, it’s fun to ride with people.

Though my colour combos are a bit insane at the moment… lol

Blue / Yellow Jacket or a Red Jacket
Orange Pants
Red Boots
Purple Snowboard

HAHAHA

Haha I ALWAYS wear a facemask.. If its too hot its just around my neck.. Instead of over my head..But always over my face if I’m not getting windburn.. I’m getting sunburn..

Never had my goggles fog..  always worn a facemask. Then helmet then either goggles or sunnies..  ( most days here are 5-10 degrees when the suns out.. Which for snow is quite warm!)

And a huge yes on colours!!!  My jacket is pink /orange/blue tiedye   my hoodies are rainbow tie dye. A pink/purple/blue dip dyed and the bw one (my only black piece of snow gear. - and I even coloured the logos in pink!)

My pants are an orange pair. A blue(royal) pair, a pink pair, a dark splotchy pair and a leopard print pair!!

My board is pretty colourful. My bindings are one green leopard print and one pink leopard print…  my boots are rainbow tie dye…  So yeh… LOTS of colour!! Haha

Haha won’t be missing you out on the slopes, that’s so much colour it sounds awesome. I

Think i’m going to go for some bright pants and bright boots. My jacket should be ok with some bright pants just not sure on what colour yet.

^^Sweet jacket!

Look, I’m not talking about crazy colors all the time, and I 100% agree with the comfort factor, but exclusively riding in a hoody seems very odd to me. Same as when I see people wear jeans at the snow. I mean, you’re not ‘wrong’, you’re wearing pants in public and that’s always a good idea…but there are specifically designed items of clothing that R&D teams literally throw millions of dollars into. Why wouldn’t you make use of them?

I also don’t like the idea of nikwaxing everything. Maybe it’s just my Canadian (specifically, Whistler) bank account speaking, but “Ain’t nobody got money fo’ dat!”. But then again, I rarely nikwax my tech gear anyway.

As an Aussie, I love our resorts and I’ve been skiing/riding them for what I’d say is a very long time. Having said that, I don’t want to be misinterpreted here, but I’m glad I’m somewhere where everything doesn’t revolve around park. We have a solid 6 month season here and park is mostly reserved for the beginning and the end, so during the peak of the season, for those who really know what’s up; are out there finding the sweet tree runs, the amazing pillow drops and awesome cornices.

Apart from that anyway, I’d say you’d be an odd one out wearing just a hoody in this neck of the woods!

^^ Don’t know if you’re talking to H0zz or me.

I’ll always take a power day over a park day but beautiful Australia lacks those heavy days.. So park laps after morning turns errryyyday alldayyyy… That is after you have bombed the shizz out of as many drops and runs with a crew as you can!

Totally agree with facemasks! CanNOT deal without one, If it’s cold of scorching from the sun = need dis!

Wasn’t talking to anyone in particular…just shooting the shit and sharing my thoughts.

In any case, it looks like Leasha’s gone the jacket route. And it’s a sick one at that! Leasha - I’d get some neutral toned/coloured pants to wear with that jacket. Perhaps black, light brown…lot’s of options grin

I rode pow and tree lines yesterday - some sections were up to my hips, if I stopped. I was glad I had on my 15k jacket wink

Trust me I’ve tried wearing a jacket.. Even with just 1 tshirt underneath.. (infact I’ve tried 4 different jackets. A volcom, grenade, billabong and burton) and I just seem to over heat…  I’ve only nikwaxed my 3 “snow” hoodies… Nothing else gets done really… Again.. Only ridden in Australia.. I do ride park.. But I love variety more than anything..  Doing groomers when they are fresh.. Then hitting some tree runs in good conditions.. Making our own jump and hitting the park and playing with flatland stuff when they conditions aren’t that great…  and I loooove my jackets colouring and print.. I take it up with me everyday and put it in a locker - just incase… But I find I’m just more comfortable in a hoodie..

Haha leasha.. I don’t go too colour combo crazy..  I’ll generally wear the pink/orange or leopard pants with my BW hoodie.. Or the blue/orange/pink or dark colours pants with my other 2 colourful hoodies.. My rainbow hoodie looks sick with the blue pants and my rainbow boots.. smile

Thanks for the tip on the pants Lulu I think you are right on those colors for my jacket.

Ahh face mask that’s another thing I need to get onto, got major wind burn at Falls last season. Rookie mistake right there!

Haha yes, but you know what? After a stage sometimes you want goggle tans to let’em know you’re seasoned on the hill…
(not me tho’, I prefer lookin’ like a ninja.)

Oh, if you get bandanas like I used to, it’ll freeze once it gets wet. Not that much of a problem here in Oz, but mnaybe else where when you need the breathability.
