Devo the backup HD was accidentally dropped and is now cactus. 2 1/2 T down the drain, which I can live with, but then something weird happened with the laptop and 5 weeks of USA pics are gone downer

Sucks, but I got the memories, and I’ll be f’d if I’m going to do all that driving again (around 4100 miles)

Take it in to an IT shop dude. Have a look online for some local guys that to recoverys.
I have had a mechanical HDD dropped, and still managed to get back a fair bit of data. with a SSD, you’ll have even better luck.
They’ll just stick it on a new device.

thanks mate, but its a no luck sit. I was very fortunate to have a bloke at work (can an engineer be hardcore?!) do some computer recover magic, and it must have been running when (unmentioned) unfortunately dropped it so only 500mb registered and was not usable. Pretty disappointed,  but on the plus there won’t be some prolonged TR thrown at you about Dragon driving a brand new Charger with a Gorgeous Mrs Dragon and going on and on. (Which coincidentally I was planning on doing). But sigh, alas, and all that. Just start saving for a new vacation is the remedy!!!!!!!

Devo for two reasons.

1. My MCL injury of 4 months I was told won’t need to be operated on they are NOW saying will need to be.

But MORE SO..

2. My rotator cuff that I tore in Niseko 10 months ago, is now going to have to be full reco and looking like will need 12 months to be back to “normalish” (anyone with experience with a tear please speak to me I need bulk info).

SO in short, no exercise for the top or bottom of my body = Estelle goes SOMETHING SOMETHING…
Actually I am legit devvo…

Hi Stellvadore,
tore one of my rotator cuffs (supraspinatus) of the bone February 2013 had surgery June 2013 six weeks in a sling and 6 months of physio painful and frustrating, in the last week before xmas I got full range of movment back, but was told the graft could tear quiet easy in the first 12 months, my shoulder is great now and probably better than the other one, I was told it had to be done because of my age it was a big operation but one i had to have….
hope this helps Evan
