Thermals, not need but it might be nice on a cold day.

Facemask, definitely!

Have everything but thermals.  and maybe a second pair of gloves
Im there for over a month.. thought maybe if they get wet?  maybe im just being to fussy.

Cold as in, Aus winter wind cold (delt with that no worries) or cold as in, its actually proper cold?

Avatar

Actual proper cold. I needed a facemask the whole time but never wore one in Aus prior.

And I didn’t wear thermals but most people did.

Gloves should be fine, it’s not wet snow.

My kids wear a tshirt and jocks under shell jacket and pants.  Idiots.
I wear thermal top, midlayer, shell, 3/4 thermal tights and ski pants.

Face mask is a must.

big surprise I’d die!! Brrrrrr

I definitely wear thermals. I have a shell and always layer up like marshmallow

Haha I only wear a t-shirt and jocks too. My jacket has a bit of padding though.

It’s more the wind on skin than the actual cold that kills me.

Thanks Kim!  I’ll definitely be looking over that site.

I didnt find Aus cold at all, except for the crazy windy days.
In saying that, We did had copious amounts of bluebird days this year and was wearing my softshell most of the time.

Don’t listen to TJ, he’s a tough guy.  tongue
Definitely bring thermals, and a mighty warm jacket and good waterproof boots (with grip) for walking around town at night. (It’s very funny watching first timers wear skate shoes/ runners around the village wink)

Have fun, we leave tomorrow!!!! wooooohoooo!

Ps. I am NOT going to tell everyone the total weight of my luggage, it’s ridiculous!  grin

What time is your flight LMB? Xx
