Yea I like Terrain Garden as well.
You know, maybe the jumps on BC aren’t actually that big and I’m both out of practice and also because when you’re 5’2, everything looks big
Andy might have a better indicator, and I’m also currently too lazy to check WB website…hahahaha
Had my first lap through the BC park today…
For reference - First small jump can either be taken straight or used as a hip, pretty small and a pretty flat landing so landing short didnt appear to be an issue for most people who hit it. As mentioned, there is a RH hip which is good as you can pick how high up you want to go. The is a smallish bullet bonk which is shaped nicely to just jump off the LH side if you want to avoid it. I didnt really look at the rails as I’m not that interested as yet.
The 2 medium jumps towards the end looked reasonable as far as Ms go, I would hazard a guess at 15-20ft-ish. I didnt attempt these due to t being my first site lap through and hardpack conditions
just start talking in Meters and you won’t be as intimidated. 25ft? only 7 meters mate, easy as! hahaha.
love a good warm up in the TG.
i’d be down for a backcountry day fosho.
also Happy birthday Lu for yesterday was it?!
Annnnd i’m thinking coming up sunday, anyone riding? how good does tues/wed look next week! fingers crossed it happens.
Hahaha, 7 meters is still not small to me lol. I guess it depends on the type of the jump and how kicky it is and how much airtime you get.
I am riding tomorrow
Thanks Rhys - yeah the b’day was yesterday. I had a fun day!
I think Dan might be riding tomorrow (pending work). I’ll be riding on Monday and Tuesday…we had some snow lastnight, but I think the real action is looking to happen throughout Monday/Tuesday. Fingers crossed!
Sweet, looks like there’s a lot of snow in the forecast for next week. We just need the freezing level to stay low.
I’m not sure which day(s) yet, but I’ll definitely be shredding sometime next week.

RE: Snow mobiling..
Sarah is still currently employed by CWA ( Canadian Wilderness Adventures) and may be able to get a good discount for us if there is a big enough group. Not sure on how much of a discount or numbers or which tour we’d be able to get but let us know if you’d be interested.. Probably for February..
Jonny’s workin for the same company now im pretty sure, or another one that does sledding tours anyway
had an awesome day riding today. It was snowing while I was at work last night so i got excited. slept from 5am-730am, got up and headed straight to the village, which is only a 20 metre walk and 30 second snowboard now , got a burger and coffee from garboz, gotta love half price, went to head up the gondy, pass didnt work, had to go to the springs and get a new one, finally got up the mountain, deano+ had done a run already and met up with friends, met up with them, then deano and I split off to the right of emerald chair, where the park will be, i got excited and hucked on the second hit i found, just lost the edge on landing but was such a good feeling to be upside down again. we rode whis all the way to base, then up blackcomb, then got the p2p back to whis and rode there for a while more before heading down to longhorn. now im just writing this as i eat my migorang and get dressed for work in 24 minutes.
I love whistler
I love snowboarding, and now I remember why

That was earlier than expected. I guess there’s a lot of snow in the alpine.
