Cheers mate, I’ve missed you lot Just a busy time of year at work and outside of work hours I’m getting as much time in the surf and sun as possible!

Not bad mate as long as it is in the 4ft or under territory and decently clean beyond that I still feel a bit sketchy confidence wise. The biggest difference like any sport is that I’m finally feeling like things are slowing down and I have more time on the face of the wave and can think and react to things rather than it being a split second blur.
I’ve actually been doing a whole bunch of SUP surfing which I think has really helped my progress. You get a really high wave count and jumping then jumping back on the surfboard it feels so light and maneuverable. I’d still be one of the bigger kooks in the lineup but boy am I having fun doing it.
I recently did the trek up to the northern beaches (for Mikes birthday party) and was pretty close to picking up a new smaller board from Sanctum. In the end I decided against it as my current board certainly isn’t the limiting factor but I still would love something I can duck dive without throwing the wave count out the window. May need to seek your advice on this in the near future.
Great to hear!!!!!
Loving the snow pics filtering through from those on the ground!
I’ve got Yen in cards for the boys for Christmas, my board is waxed and ready to go.
Might turn my mind to PACKING!
Yipppeeeee!
so when i booked my flights to japow with qantas a few months back there was no narita sapporo connecting flights so Im having to do the narita - haneda - sapporo transfer. Anyone done this? Is it as sucky as what i think its going to be??
Ive tried to change my flights to the available narita - sapporo option but the flying kangaroo want $537 to do so, which is only $200 less than what i paid to fly over there.
So yeah, hit me up with any narita - haneda transfer advice you have

It’s not that bad, but still not the ideal!!!!!
I think only Jetstar and JAL fly out of Narita, so that’s why Qantarse wants to charge ya extra coinage!!!!!
Easy to transfer though, just give yaself a couple hours to do it as the bus through Tokyo takes about hour/hour and a half from memories!!!!!
As soon as ya pick up ya baggage, the look for the Orange Limosuine Bus service counter!!!!! Buy a ticket to Haneda (Make sure you don’t mix this up with “Canada”), then enjoy the ride that has pretty much fuck all to look at!!!!!
Get off at Departures and find that next flight!!!!! (It’ll most likely still be a JAL Codeshare)
Ohhh, and it cost around ¥3500 for a one wayer!!!!!
Yeah I remember being stressed about it but it was pretty painless.
