Shouldn’t you be packing up your computer for geek fest 2014???
Obviously this isn’t good news for Australian retailers. That said, the service isn’t cheap and I doubt it would work for items like snowboards, as Australia Post doesn’t currently accept items of that size, even domestically.
I hope consumers weigh up the cost of shipping vs supporting Australian stores like Boardworld that offer great customer service and show loyalty to their customers — and also getting a warranty (buying overseas voids your warranty in Australia).
On a personal level, I am sinking everything into rebuilding our store for next winter, with an amazing new brand/product range, which I hope you guys will be stoked on. I don’t expect anything other than your consideration of the above points. I hope you know that by supporting Boardworld (in any way), we will always support you and show you loyalty. It’s my absolute goal to make sure Boardworld always looks after our members/customers. If you guys aren’t completely stoked with the full service, giving you the best overall value, then we are doing something wrong.
Thanks for listening.
I reckon you guys are doing an awesome job. I have been dead impressed with the service and help I’ve got when I was buying my board and then my bindings (not to mention how hassle free and quickly everything has arrived!). I would much rather get my stuff from BW and have such a high level of customer service than go elsewhere just to save a few dollars.

Quality and service will be remembered, whereas a discount price shall not
never had as good a service as i have with BW. and friends i have refered to store have said the same
use brad10 promo code for 10% off
Thanks for the kind words and encouragement, team.
Makes me feel like we’re doing something right.
Buyin from overseas isn’t always the cheapest, and isn’t always plain sailing!!!!!
Would I buy wax from the U.S.????? Not when I get free delivery from BW!!!!!
Would I buy a board from the U.S.????? Not when you calculate the current exchange rate, then add postage (no matter how cheap), then run the risk if it’s not what you wanted, or it needs to be returned????? What a fuckin drama!!!!!
And the article said that they get everything first!!!!! That’s a load of bullshit, as we get quite a bit of stock before the States when it comes to Snow!!!!!
Ask yourself, for eg will Burton Australia help you out with a warranty claim on your brand new board, when you knowingly duped an online store in order to get ya board for $20 cheaper?????
Would ya go on holiday without insurance?????
Why run the risk with big ticket OS purchases?????
Morning!
Big day in the office for me today!
You might of heard of a company that is getting a shit tonne of new owners today

Aus gets HEAPS of stuff before NOHE, for example:
Aus 2014 range, available from around june-july, is NOHE 2014-2015 range, available sept-oct, ish
