Stoked on an eye level as well (hehehehe) Just got contacts also last night - I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT ON SO MUCH!!!
Stoked for you Stell!
I still remember the first time I tried on a mate’s glasses for the first time. I had NO idea that my eyesight had deteriorated. We were at the footy, and I mentioned to the guys that I couldn’t read the smaller stuff up on the scoreboard. They were all surprised, and a mate of mine handed me his glasses and told me to try them on. My god it was the biggest shock. Everything came back into view. I couldn’t believe that I’d been walking around with no idea that I wasn’t seeing everything normally. I sat there with his glasses on, shaking my head in disbelief for about 30 minutes. As it tuned out, his glasses were pretty much the same prescription as I needed.
Saying that though, I never wear mine now. The only time I wear my glasses is if I’m driving at night in an area I’m not familiar with. I do have contacts, but I only wear them when I’m doing something like boarding, MTB riding, golfing etc.
Oh, and stoked I’ll be in Sydney town all next week. Can’t wait to hang out in my old hood!
Stoked that the Wanderers won the AFC final!

Contacts? Do you usually board w/ glasses?
I got my eyes lasered a few years back, so glad I did it.
Stoked that the Wanderers won the AFC final!
you jumping on the bandwagon now, TJ? haha its okay, all are welcome!
Such a massive achievement from the guys. Against all the odds, they stuck together as a team and came through with the goods.
That game certainly put the idea to bed that a nil all draw can’t be exciting!
Just wishing I could have been home to go watch it at Parra and have gone to the airport tonight!
I think he has always been a supporter!
But shouldn’t we all be stoked that the Aussie team won?

I started supporting them in the beginning. I saw them play a few games in their first season (before they were top of the table). By all means I’m not in the RBB but I’m definitely a fan.
I’m a SydneyFC fan since day 1, but glad the Wanderers won it, great for Aussie football and generating interest in our game. Plus WS are great for the Aleague and were a team that the league needed.
Having said that though - fuck the wanderers - Sydney is sky blue!!!

Sick! I didn’t know that - I’ll probably see you at a game when I’m home again in a few weeks!

Let us know when you’re going and I’ll join you guys (if cool). Me and a few of the guys plan to see more than a few games this year!
And I grew up in Campbelltown so WSW always sort of rang home (and I like soccer where as AFL is meh for me so GWS… eh)
I’ll be going to as many of the home games as I possibly can while we’re still living in Sydney at my mum’s (don’t actually know how long that will be).
Will tee something up if I can but sometimes I get in with Verity’s family connection tickets and I never know until not long before if I have one of those or not!
