I pay $50/month unlimited calls and texts and 1.5 gigs data and its a month to month contract.
Bargain!!!!!
Who’s that with?????
Telus
Telus
Yeah, that’s what I’m sayin!!!!!
^^
I’m with Telus as well. It was the best deal going around if you already own a mobile, plus they have the best coverage in Whistler.
Nah, that’s a good dealio!!!!!
And month to month, it’d be a great option for someone doin a one month stint in Whistler!!!!!
I got Telus for Sun Peaks as well, they have great plans and good service in most places. I rarely had an issue compared to any 3rd party companies. Rodgers and Bell were decent too but I know Whistler has a Telus tower.
I guess I’m being blind because I couldn’t see that telus deal online. I’ll go and speak to them when I get there.
Just saw this on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/2kkkg3/what_brand_do_you_distrust/clm5kah
Maybe stay away from Dell.
===================
With Telus John, go to the shop and work with them, they likely have plans that aren’t the same as online.
(P.S. just went to the Telus site and remembered how shitty Canadian Data Plans are… I was $70 a month for 2gb and some calls / texts…. ouch ($50 here with 2gb and unlimited texts and calls… and earning more than double.)
Ha, here I’m paying $23 for unlimited 4g, unlimited texts and 200 minutes. But I’ll go in and speak to them anyway, see what they can do.

Is there a Telco anywhere in the world that doesn’t have complaints about it?????
Hey guys, just a quick tip if you’re living in Whistler this season.
I just got off the phone to Prior Snowboards (just finished ordering my new custom board, STOKED ).
The manager told me to tell my friends that they are also doing a locals discount for anyone living in Whistler. $200 off any board!
Thought you might want to know
Total change of topic…
My boss is going to Whistler for the first time in Feb.
Can anyone advise on some off mountain must see’s?
Nice restaurants etc - place you might take your parents or Mrs Mizu?
I have already suggested, snow snowmobiling and first tracks breakfast and Scandi Spa.
Splitz Grill is a must I think. 21 Steps is a pretty good restaurant too imo. If they want to go fine dining, maybe Araxi (I personally never tried it). Whistler Cat Skiing if they’re into that sort of thing. Cows ice cream is not bad. Sachi Sushi and Sushi village are nice restaurants with good sushi but maybe it’s not a “must try” restaurant. On a sunny day, take a picture at 7th heaven or that stone monument thing on top of Peak Chair. There’s always bungee jumping if he’s adventurous .
Female boss (well a couple are going)
50yo and reasonably wealthy!
But thanks for the suggestions
