Wish mine would hurry up so I can start getting discounts round town!

You know you get discounts, if you usually just ask if they have a “locals discount” right?

I wasn’t even a local and I got discounts. LOL.

Yeh we have been getting locals discounts at most places.

And lots of free shots!

Ouch!

Glad you got it sorted mate. I had a similar thing a little while back. Got some metal shavings embedded in my cornea (which then grew over the shavings). I didn’t know anything was wrong until my eye started to swell. Had to get the shavings dug out with a needle, and then have my eyeball buffed. Such a weird feeling. Pretty cool though.

Thats exactly what happened Tills and this is the 4th time its happened in my life! but the first time my Dr couldn’t get it out - I think it happened on Thursday but didn’t swell until Friday night.
Had to wait the entire weekend until seeing an eye specialist (A painful weekend of near blindness) - It was more pleasant than my Dr doing it with a hypodermic needle.
BUT MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE!

Yeah the buffing was strange but he said it will cure most of the scarring from the past (which I could notice).
Tonight I’m beginning to see clearer; it’s like I’ve been upgraded to HD lol
But it may be just that I can see with 2 eyes again!

Tomorrow I’m back for the checkup to make sure there’s no infection.

Toughest part was taking photos at my nephew’s baptism on Sunday - somehow I managed - and it was my right eye that it was in.

Funny story Spaz!

My sister used to have perfect 20 20 vision.

As a camera operator this was important. then one day when she was still an assistant she found out she needed glasses.

Amazingly her camera work improved and she got promoted to cameraman!

They said to her - we can’t quite explain it but your work has improved imessnesly these past couple of months. Not that we thought there was anything wrong with your previous work..

LOL

Loving how cheap lift passes are in Europe. It’ll cost us about $45 a day in ruka and only $25 a day in Manigod in France!

And it’s only 2.5 months until I am waking up to these views again! So stoked!!
