Any bets on who will win? I personally don’t follow either team and have friends on both sides of the fence but ultimately I think Souths will be too strong for the Dogs.
On another note, if anyone is in Sydney and is bored, come hang out with us in Marrickville / Enmore area at the Vic Hotel. They have live music till 6pm including the Vines.

Like you I don’t really follow either team… hell I barely even follow the league… But I do think that the Rabbits will win, they’re seemingly the better side, and will have a lot of fight in them to win for the first time in 42 years or so, the only thing that might stop them is the experience of playing in big games that the Bulldogs have, after all the finals they have played in.

One of my mates from growing up in Canberra plays in The Vines. We actually went to the same church youth group (don’t hold it against me or him!)
Didn’t see him for about 7 or 8 years (so this was early/mid 2000s when the vines were at their biggest) and then bumped into him at cronulla point after a surf. I asked him what he was up to these days and he said he was a musician. I asked what band and he said ‘The Vines’ and I came out with ‘Yeah but you know there is already a super famous band called the vines, right?’
He replied ’ umm yeah, thats the band I’m in’
Hilarious and embarrassing. I just had no concept that this nice kid I went to youth group with who played the piano, could have grown up to be a rock star.
