770 is pretty expensive… I was paying about $450 a month in Sun Peaks…

- linens for beds
available for $8900 a month this winter, plus utilities ($900/ month). This house will be rented on a six month lease from November 1 to April 30. If the group wishes to stay longer we discount our rates for the summer. We have two other houses available in the same neighbor hood that are a similar size and price.
Interested mate if your needing numbers still, I’ll be arriving in Van Oct 25 and heading up to Whistler on the 30th for the Job Fair and then staying the season. Happy to roomshare with someone to keep costs down.

10K / 8 = 1250 a month… urm yes i think that is cheap..

When your hourly wage is $11 and you get 40 hours a week. that’s = $440 a week before tax. That’s on average 1906 a month before tax. Take out lets say $100 tax, that means you’re down to 650 to eat and drink on if you got 8 people there. Even with Dylan’s $770, that’s only about $1000 for a MONTH!
A quiet night out in Whistler can easily cost $100 and lunch if you buy it can easily be $15 a day. That’s 1/2 your money just in lunches.
Just be really careful what you put your name on. If you sign the lease and then people bail on you than you need to pay the rent. The other option is to let someone else do the dirty work and just sublet off them.
I guess the positive of being the main person is that you can charge people whatever you want. E.G. I didn’t pay for Internet all year as it was $35 a month between 8 (or $5 each for them 
)
