Yep. It grinds my gears that people complain about hook turns. It is the best and safest way to do a right hand turn!

they totally do. They allow traffic to keep flowing through with out risk of being tboned then when traffic has stopped the turning cars go

When they react badly to this, you know deep down inside they know they’ve made a choice they can’t undo and maybe sometimes regret more often than not.
Usually when they use the “why haven’t you,” they react badly and try to justify their position or to let you know you’re missing out.
I’m pretty confident that using them as a benchmark I’m not missing out.

Bottom line: don’t ever judge/expect what someone is going to/should do because they’re not you.
That’s a tad hypocritical really. So people shouldn’t judge you and what you do/don’t do because they’re not you, but you can judge other people and assume you know what they’re thinking “deep down” despite the fact you’re not them? Right…
On another note, the thing that really grinds my gears the most is when you pull over to let an oncoming car pass ( due to parked cars, narrow road etc.) and they don’t wave to say thanks. Makes me so mad!!

OMG this happen to me twice on the same section of road!
One after the other the driver of the other car total blanked me!
Oh man. To me there’s a no go zone…. never ask anyone if they want, wish, wish they didn’t etc, about kids. Unless it’s your partner. Such a personal thing, and you just don’t know what is going on for that person. Leave it alone. It might be someone’s entire joy, or it might be their entire pain.

When I was married, I completely feared the question (and was asked ALL the time) because I was so miserable in our relationship. My answer was “I’ve got 20 kids in my classroom, that’s enough” and laughed it off. But underneath I was miserable, trapped. Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors. It was awful. I deeply wanted kids, just not with him.
My opinion: NEVER go there. Let people open up to you. Same with relationship questions etc. how people live their lives is completely private, and up to them. I have respect for whatever they choose… People shouldn’t pry. “If” is ok, “when” is not. X

One of the girls at work is exactly like this… Wants to put shit on everyone but if you say anything back it’s like the world has ended…
I don’t have time to read everything from the last few pages, but it doesn’t look like this thread is going anywhere productive. State your opinion, don’t get personal. Nothing good ever comes out of it. We are all friends here. Please keep it that way. I don’t want to shut this thread down…

wow this really went somewhere i personally didnt expect!!!
Anyhow todays gear grind, the smell of red bull when im not drinking it. I swear to god that scent could impregnate the tightest airlock at nasa, and it smells soo sickly sweet I feel like im contracting diabetes by proxy!!
