I met Wildman a month or two back after I saw the boardworld sticker on his head and said hi. Cool guy! Have had a few super fun sessions lapping summit park with him and other crew since then. Turns out he’s a boss on a bobsled too haha. Goodbye season 2014 :( time to get amped for the northern hemi winter!
Well that’s the season for me. Conditions were getting seriously sketchy up to yesterday then the rain came through overnight. There were still a select few ride-able runs, but there are large dirt/rock patches everywhere now. Here’s a couple of fish-eye photos courtesy of my GoPro.
I had a blast this season thanks to the BW mates I saw up there including Azz, Tambo, Billy, Wildman and Ivan from Meme. Thanks guys!

Yeah it’s about shot. Bit of a shame it wasn’t cold enough to snow instead of rain, but it is spring. I’ve had a cracker of a run this season so no complaints here!

after. it was a bit patchy before but really patchy after. Snake and Imagine were still quite ok, though.

Glad to see that the snow making is paying off for them.
In case you didn’t get your Hero pass for Hotham OR Falls, they’ve extended the sale till 3rd Oct…
We were also contacted by a number of other people who explained they were currently away from home and didn’t have sufficiently reliable internet access to buy their Hero Passes.
If either of these scenarios describes your situation, you can relax.
