I’m DEVO’ed that my shredbetty had to go back to Whistler after an awesome time in NZ and Oz over 4 weeks, and that I have to wait 3 months to see her.
Sounds short but when you’re in a LDR, once to twice a year is pretty bad. =(
Plus the costs.
At least the countdown is on til you see her again!

LDR is fucked. Didn’t see my ex for 3 months and it was a nightmare. I ended up fucking the relationship cause of the time apart

Long distance relationships suck! I feel for ya! Me and my fiance did a year of long distance, I live in Melbourne and he lived in Sydney and even that sucked only seeing each other every 3-4 weeks (and bloody expensive!). Can’t imagine how bad Aus-Canada would be.
On another note…. Just after the Shred I organised to have tomorrow off work to head up to the snow for one last day of snowboarding before the end of the season. After days of beautiful sunshine the forecast for tomorrow is 100km/h winds. No snow for me Devo! Hopefully I can get a day off next week before all the snow melts!

I like working in hospitality but for the past few weeks I’ve been the only security staffed on during the late shift (11pm-3am); PEOPLE ARE FUCKED!
I can’t believe how some people act, their disrespect for each other, the venue, themselves and the community.
My biggest gripe is that it takes me several days to recover when the slightest incidence occur. And security award wages are poor at best. The constant physical threat to myself is screwed up - mostly because of footy players wanting to prove themselves at this time of year. At least once a weekend I’m having to manhandle 3 guys at once, physically at their prime (the local teammates), defending each other; all in a weight class above my own, all 20 years younger than me.
Obviously drugs are the biggest culprit - media reports abouts about crystal meth aren’t exaggerated! ESPECIALLY IN REGIONAL FOOTY PLAYERS- but alcohol ain’t innocent, I’ve even had to have a completely sober young individual arrested because of his mental condition; in reaction to how drunkards/meth heads treat him.
I have learn’t a lesson - NEVER AGAIN WILL I SKIP A SNOW SEASON! (working as a videographer). I think I’d rather risk my life driving 50,000km (in winter) than wrestling with meth heads/drunkards. I know my daughter would appreciate it much more because the aggression I carry after each weekend is completely NOT ME!!!!!
Anyway… it’s been a while since I last posted anywhere on the forum - this post may explain a bit.
Devo’ed I haven’t felt up to being more active here.
