Sooooo I just stuffed up at work.
A few of us were talking about the Christmas gifts that we normally give away to our clients. One of the guys mentioned that he’s been told by the boss that we’re not doing anything this year. So we were all talking about how much of a tight arse he is.
So I go back to my desk and dig this photo up, and send it in an email to the boys with the title “Our Christmas gifts this year”.
Only problem is I included my boss in the email by mistake.

What was the fall out?

He’s on leave at the moment. I logged onto his PC to delete it, but it’s already been read, so he must have read it on his mobile.
We have a company around the corner that we’re good mates with. We’re always hanging it on each other via email. If the boss asks what the email was about I’ll tell him it was meant for them because they was asking what we were getting them. Something along those lines anyway.

I saw your lost BW hoodie on a cleaner at Blue Cow lasts on Sunday.
I saw him when I was on the 5pm tube departing Blue Cow.
Nothing I could do as he was on the platform and I was on the departing train.
But if you want it back maybe linger around the tube at 5pm on a day or two?
Or call the resort and tell them you want it back? No idea if they would speak to him or not…
But I personally expect that a staff member (especially a cleaner) should hand in lost property! Did you call the resort and ask if anyone had handed it in?

Will do. infact I’m usually around there then. As the guys like a few afternoon bevvys before getting back on the tube once the lifts have stopped turning…
I asked both BC and perisher lost and found offices.. (even left my details and a very long description of the hoodie at the BC office so they could record a case and contact me if it was handed in… Which it obviously hasn’t been…)
